19 x 32. Colored pencil and acrylic paint on wood. I'm experimenting with different ways to create these drawings. I still need to varnish this. I think my next one will be on a black panel and probably start getting larger.

Soo...I haven't done any 2-d work in a long time and I've been having the urge to do some illustrations of my bizarre project ideas. Here is this first one. My portable nesting egg. Colored pencil on watercolor paper.

News Update

Soo...I recently put a proposal together for a public gathering place made up of hanging, nest-like lounge chairs patched together with old discarded fabrics donated by the community. In fact my one concept sketch a few posts back is an image of what the nests might look like. Well the project was chosen for the social change scholarship and I will soon begin work on it! Currently I'm working on finalizing a location for the project. Keep checking in...I'll be documenting and posting the whole process!
