Once Upon A Time...

Collaborative project with Christine Weller complete and installed in the gardens of the University of Delaware. It will be exciting to see what time and mother nature does to this, as well as what everyone else will do it as they continue to add on to it and keep it growing and alive.

This is my interpretation of fashion design and the advertising culture that accompanies it. It was a lot of fun to create and it keeps me laughing. That may seem simple-minded or arbitrary, but to me embracing those playful qualities and using my art as a comical tool is very important. It encourages one to re-exam the ways in which we operate within our cultural society while reminding us that we can still "play" as adults.

Bending Some Steel

Today I picked up the 3in square tubing I had bent for the Waverly nest project. A big thanks to the Joseph Kavanagh Company! They did an awesome job bending these into perfect curves.
